CVC Applauds the $249.7 Million Federal Investment to Upgrade AIS Facilities

Creadaptic Volleyball Club (CVC) is excited to share news from the Federal Government that the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) will receive $249.7 million investment to revitalise and upgrade their facilities. This significant upgrade of AIS facilities marks a crucial step forward for athlete development in Australia, particularly in the lead up to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic Games.

This announcement reflects years of advocacy by Volleyball Australia (VA) for increased support in infrastructure and technology, and marks a great step in the redevelopment of its site to help develop the next generation of volleyball talent on the road to 2032.

Craig Carracher AM, the President of VA, expressed enthusiasm over the opportunities this funding will bring to athlete development, ensuring that Australia remains at the forefront and continues to deliver world-class sporting events. He acknowledged the AIS as a longstanding hub for volleyball in Australia and highlighted the importance of the upgrades in maintaining Australia's competitive edge.

We applaud the Federal Government's investment as it marks a pivotal moment for sport infrastructures in Australia. The revitalisation of the AIS ensures that athletes across the country continue to have access to world-class facilities, paving the way for future success on the global stage.

This investment aligns with our club's commitment to excellence and underscores the importance of continued support for sports development in Australia. We look forward to the positive impact this initiative will have on volleyball and the broader sporting community now and in the years beyond.
