casual trainings

We are currently in the process of organising weekly training sessions designed for players who wish to enhance their skills or play regularly without committing to a full season. These sessions will offer flexibility, allowing players to attend on a week-to-week basis as per their convenience, without any long-term commitment.

Experienced coaches will conduct the casual training sessions and occasionally participate in them, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Typically, each session will begin with skills and drills, followed by game-play opportunities.

Skill Level: While players of all levels are welcome, these sessions will be particularly targeted to those who have little to no experience. If you are experienced at the game or unsure about which session would be most suitable for you, please feel free to contact us via email, and we will assist you in selecting the appropriate session.

Age Requirements: Players must be 14 years or older to register for Casual Training.

Schedule and Locations: We will strive to conduct weekly sessions, however the schedule may vary due to venue availability and other factors.

Cost: $15.00 per person, per session

All payments by EFTPOS only

Please ensure you regularly visit our website to stay updated on the latest information regarding the commencement of our Casual Trainings.

policies & procedures

We take the safety and wellbeing of our members seriously. To ensure that everyone has a positive experience, we have several policies and procedures in place, and encourage all members to familiarise themselves with them.

flexibility is our priority.

We understand that financial circumstances can vary from member to member. That's why we offer the flexibility to pay membership fees in instalments. This means that instead of paying the full membership fee upfront, you can spread the cost over several payments throughout the season by using Afterpay or ZipPay. If you're interested in paying your membership fees in instalments, please contact our club staff, and they will be happy to assist you.

Forms

We have several forms that our members may need to fill out throughout the season. All members must review and complete the necessary forms promptly to ensure smooth and efficient operations throughout the season.

GIVE ME DISCOUNTS!

Pursing your passion for volleyball shouldn't be hindered by financial constraints. That is why we've gone the extra mile to simplify the process of accessing financial assistance by compiling a comprehensive list of grants and funding opportunities.

Constitution

The constitution is a foundational document that outlines the structure of our volleyball club. It provides the framework for our club's operations and helps us ensure that we are operating in a fair, consistent, and transparent manner. Our constitution includes sections on membership, governance, finances, and more. It outlines the roles and responsibilities of our management committee and members, as well as our dispute resolution procedures. We encourage all members to familiarise themselves with our constitution.

please note!

As a member of our volleyball club, it's important to note that you are not only governed by our club's policies and procedures, but also by external regulations. These may include, but are not limited to, regulations set by Volleyball Queensland, Volleyball Australia, and State and Federal Governments. These policies and regulations are in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all participants, and to maintain fairness and integrity in our sport. We encourage all members to familiarise themselves with any applicable external regulations. This will help ensure that we all comply with relevant laws and guidelines, and maintain a safe and respectful environment for everyone.

Meeting Minutes

We value transparency and accountability in our operations, and we strive to keep our members informed about our decision-making processes. To this end, we maintain records of the minutes from our general meetings and management committee meetings. If you are a member and would like to access these minutes, we encourage you to get in touch with our club staff.
